Whilst all the text is in Japanese the wealth of photographic reference makes this a superb document covering, characters, vehicles, episodes and merchandising plus fan activity !

Japanese books have passed into legend over the years and this latest effort is a worthy companion. Hideaki Ito's weighty tome is 170 pages packed with hundreds of photographs (the majority in full colour) illustrating the plethora of merchandise produced in Japan since the 1960s. As is always the case with these books, the text is wholly in Japanese and one has to say this is the one book which would really benefit from a translation. Still, fascinating throughout and well worth acquiring.

This 100-Page book from Boxtree by John Marriott was first published in 1992 and has long since been out of print. This copy is in very average condition with a heavily-creased [but not torn] cover and minor scribble on Pages 3, 13, 39, 46, 48, 61, 96 and 97. Pages 93/94 and 95/96 are present but completely detached. Page 91/92 is missing. This all sounds worse than it is as the episode, character and hardware details, plus many colour and black and white photographs, are worth the read. Offered at half the original cover price
