DVDs
These are not commercially produced discs. They have been prepared from UK ITV Granada and HTV recordings made to VHS tape at the time of broadcast in 1989 without commercials. This programme material has then be transferred to DVD using the Philips "+RW" system and then to "+R" discs in the PAL television format. Please make sure these discs are playable on your domestic equipment - we are told compatability is over 90% certain - but it is entirely the customer's responsibility to ensure these discs will play on your equipment when received. Each episode is individually titled with menu image and wording. The quality of the programme material (which has not in the UK been ever released on pre-recorded tape or disc) is good considering it is over 15 years old since it was sourced. The discs are supplied with no writing or labels on them in a jewel (CD) case with front insert card and back U-card which details episode titles and original screening date. |
